Dan ToraasonApplications themselves can be the weakest link in security for any enterprise. Even with the best network, os and infrastructure for security, applications can always create a risk because they are inherently built to allow users to access and manipulate sensitive data. This session focuses on common pitfalls and what developers need to do at the code level to ensure application security. Most examples will be around web applications using Java for server-side and JavaScript for rich-client applications, but the principles extend to all other platforms and languages.
