Jason MauerThree simple steps to use DirectX will be shown. FIRST: the initialization of DirectX and the render loop. SECOND: loading a model. THIRD: using embedded mesh animation and keyframing. Each of these portions will be 15 - 20 minutes. I have written a couple of small applications just in preparation of this event, one being a small tile-based game that uses Direct3D for positioning textures, surfaces, and particle effects.
