Retail leader seeks an experienced Data Base Administrator with SQL Server 2000 and 2005. Candidate will support a 24 x 7 environment. Will be responsible for planning, managing, and supporting all Business Applications databases (SQL Server and some Oracle and Redbrick) including schema design, performance tuning, documentation, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and operational guidelines as well as performing and monitoring all backups and database maintenance activities. Also responsible for supporting Business Application development teams while providing guidance and best practice solutions. Principal responsibilities include ensuring data integrity and performance of production databases. Business casual.
