Description | Job Type: Long term contract, up to two years Job Functions: We are seeking a senior Microsoft .NET developer to assist in a major re-development effort expected to last two years. This project will include gathering business requirements, system design, development, testing and implementation. The application architecture will be a mix of client and web based systems. This role is a proactive one where the individual is expected to be self motivated and proactive as a key member of a small team. Job Skills: · 5+ years experience developing in a Microsoft environment · 2+ years experience in .NET (C# or VB) · 4+ years experience writing queries and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server. · 3+ years experience writing interactive web applications using Microsoft technologies · 1+ years experience in ASP.NET and AJAX · Experience with XML, XSL, SOAP, SOA and/or Web Services · Experience with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS · Proven experience delivering large, complex projects with heavy business requirements · Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design and development · Ability to work closely with staff at all levels throughout the entire process |
