The DBA will be in charge of data base administration, DB planning and organization, hardware optimization and SQL reporting. Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of SQL 2005 and its implementation.
Administration
* Manage multiple SQL 2005 servers
* Optimize DB files in a SAN environment
* Backup and indexing maintenance
* Troubleshooting DB and hardware issues
* Basic and advanced T-SQL and Stored Procedures
* Manage Security
SQL 2005 Reporting
* Familiarization with SQL 2005 reporting services
* Creation and dissemination of custom reports
Planning
* Test disaster recovery scenarios
* DB consolidations
