My name is Danny Riley and I work for Isos Technology.  In short, my client looking for a senior-level .NET web developer who is first and foremost a team player with a good attitude, who has some experience with service-oriented architectures and security, preferably with a solid eCommerce background.

Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to develop new features and provide production support to our client's e-commerce Internet sites.  He/she will participate in the technical design, development and implementation of web-based and supporting applications.  The developer will work with the other team members to specify functionality and develop technical designs.  In addition to application development, web developers will be expected to integrate with third party packages and implement end-to-end solutions, including real-time communication with external systems. 

Job Functions:

• Development, maintenance and enhancement of web applications and supporting systems.
• Responsible for production support and bug fixing.
• Responsible for technical design of web applications and supporting systems.
• Business requirements gathering and technical problem solving.
• Responsible for testing and quality assurance.
• Creates and tests the disaster recovery plan.

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft internet, software, and database development platforms, including C#, Visual Basic.NET, ASP.NET, T-SQL, XML, Visual Basic 6, ASP, JavaScript, DHTML, and CSS
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft .NET Frameworks 2.0 and 3.0, including Windows Workflow Foundation and Windows Communication Foundation
• Working knowledge of messaging systems such as WebSphere MQ, MSMQ, and/or SQL Service Broker
• Working understanding of security principles in web applications
• Working understanding of tenets and principles of Service Oriented Architecture

Experience:

• 3+ years developing applications for complex, multi-tier transactional architectures
• Experience designing and developing web applications in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, ASP, VB, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience designing and developing business services in C# and VB.NET using tenets and principles of service-orientation
• Experience developing and optimizing stored procedures in T-SQL
• Experience developing inter-system communication processes using XML
• Limited experience with database and server administration
• Retail applications experience
