Job Description: This position ensures the overall heath and performance of SQL databases. Additional responsibilities include:
· Designs, implements, and tunes database schemas
· Monitors performance, reliability, availability and recoverability of databases. Conducts regular performance testing and tuning.
· Manages storage space and memory.
· Implements and maintains operational and disaster recovery procedures
· Capacity planning
· Implements SQL related patches and hot fixes.
