Job Type: Contract – 2 to 3 months
Job Functions: Convert an existing Borland Paradox database and Delphi front-end application to MS SQL Server and Visual Basic.Net respectively. The project will include converting IDEA TechnoSoft forms reading interfaces, and existing internet and inter-office interfaces to the new platform. Some new functionality may also be included in the project.
Job Skills: 4+ years experience using VB.Net & SQL Server, experience with Delphi or similar client/server development platforms, experience with Paradox databases, experience on similar conversion projects. Experience or knowledge of IDEA TechnoSoft tools (ixDesigner, ixBatcher, ixMonitor, ixForm, ixChecker) a plus.
