VB.NET Software Developer / North Scottsdale:
CyberMetrics Corporation, a leading developer and worldwide supplier of quality, supply chain, and facilities maintenance management software solutions, currently has a full time position for a qualified VB.Net developer. This position requires someone with strong object oriented development skills in a structured project development environment. You will develop software components, data objects, and services utilizing patterns and technical designs. You will work with functional, quality, and management personnel. You must have proven .NET development experience and demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for cutting edge software development.
Responsibilities:
· Develop software components from detailed designs
· Develop, review and execute Unit Tests
· Participate in source code reviews
· Assist with product installer development
· Assist with product builds
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
· 3+ years development experience with Object Oriented principles and techniques
· 2+ years VB.Net experience
· 3+ years experience developing with Microsoft Visual Studio
· Experience creating common components
· Experience with SQL Server
· Source code control experience
· Understanding of software patterns and architecture
· Experience with Windows; 2003 and XP
· Good oral and written communication skills
· Have a hands-on, "get it done" attitude
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
· Implementing patterns and services
· N-tier application development
· Designing software using UML
· Developing WinForms and WebForms
· C# programming experience
· Experience with databases such as Oracle, or DB2
· Composite Application Block
· Enterprise Library
· Project development experience using agile methodologies (Scrum).
· Object-oriented analysis and design skills
· Developing software that utilizes concurrency, distributed components, fault tolerance, and data persistence.
· Exposure to design attributes such as; maintainability, testability, reusability, availability, robustness, performance, security, and usability.
· Development with Windows Vista
