About Douglas Klugh
As Assistant Vice President of Wells Fargo, I am providing risk management solutions to assure compliance with federal and state regulations. These solutions include development and implementation of software systems to assist in compliance auditing and quality control. Accomplishments include establishing a framework for business process modeling, designing and implementing object-oriented and service-oriented architectures, and delivering business applications to reduce service costs.
As President & CEO of Sonoran Information Technologies, I am leading my company to provide innovative software solutions to corporations throughout the United States and Latin America. Driven by decades of experience, my company is delivering n-tier applications, business intelligence solutions, enterprise data management and administration, software process engineering, project planning and management, security analysis, consulting, training, and mentoring. All software products and services are developed through proven software engineering principles and methodologies to enable continuous enhancement throughout the software lifecycle. By leveraging industry-leading modeling tools, I am able to construct robust architectural models to ensure resilient product design and to accelerate time-to-market.
While leveraging my education and background in software engineering, my primary emphasis is on developing iterative solutions utilizing tools and methodologies such as the Rational Unified Process® (RUP). When appropriate, I adapt various agile methods for less structure approaches to meeting various business needs. My specialization is in object-oriented and service-oriented architectures, but I also have extensive experience in data-centric and modular architectures. My platform experience includes enterprise, mid-range, and compact frameworks. The majority of my current project work utilizes the Microsoft® .Net framework and the Eclipse™ open-source platform, along with information management systems including DB2 and SQL Server 2005.
As much of my industry experience includes insurance, investments, and banking, I am collaborating with businesses and organizations in other industries in providing e-business services (including portal and e-commerce solutions). My participation in various IT organizations provides forums for continuous enrichment of my technical skills and knowledgebase. My previous contributions include serving as DBA, Webmaster, and President of the Arizona Rational Users Group (AZRUG), while my current role includes Vice President of the Global Rational User Group (GRUG). I am also an active member of several other IT organizations throughout the United States and the greater Phoenix valley.
