About Steve Saxon

Formerly the Lead Architect for Dell.com in 85 countries, but based out of Austin TX, which I did for 7 years. I moved them from classic ASP to an XML-based system which was then moved to .NET in early 2001. Prior to Dell I was Technical Architect for 6 years at a Financial Services company, developing a showroom system for choosing cars, picking options, financing and underwriting. This app suite was written entirely in C++ using a COM framework I built (prior to ATL) Computing history: Started writing apps in BASIC back in 1981, then moved to 6502 assembler, then C then C++/OO in 1990. In 2000 I switched to .NET/C# and haven't looked back.
